Making the change from stay at home mom of twelve years to full time student at Shoreline School of Cosmetology was a true leap of faith.  Little did I know that being a mom would so naturally translate into my strengths and aspirations as a stylist.

I have two wonderful boys who inspire me with their compassion and creativity.  Our home, perched on the side of the San Lorenzo River, surrounded by redwoods, is where as a family we connect with nature and each other.  I’ve valued the time to paint, sew, and garden.  At the same time, my children have kept me very busy.  I’ve enjoyed being involved in their activities, volunteering in their classrooms and my community.  It’s my dedication to nurturing and creativity that draws me to the beauty industry.

Having battled wavy, frizzy hair since puberty, bless me, I can empathize with others who feel challenged by their hair.  And now, my education has equipped me with the skills to help clients achieve their goals.  Shoreline has sparked a desire for more education.  While still in cosmetology school I took extra classes focused on cutting, color formulation, and nail care.

There are many things in my future that excite me: continued love and happiness at home with my family, continuing my education to become the best stylist I can, and meeting you at your next appointment!
